Sending your hair by post
We send you a free postal kit, you cut at home following the instructions, and you send the hair back in the tracked envelope that is already paid for. We confirm arrival the same day and payment goes out within 48 hours of the valuation.
Five steps
1Ask for the kit
Send three photos and the approximate length. We give you an estimate, and if you want to go ahead we only need an address to post the kit to. No bank details at this stage, or at any stage before the figure is agreed.
2The kit arrives
Two to three working days. Inside: a bag, two elastic bands, an illustrated instruction sheet, and the return envelope, already paid and tracked.
3Cut
Tie the hair into a ponytail at the nape with both bands, and cut above the upper band. A hairdresser you trust can do it — what matters is that it is tied before it is cut, not after.
4Send it
Seal the hair in the bag, put it in the envelope and hand it in at the post office. Keep the receipt: the tracking is your proof that you sent it, and ours that we received it.
5Get paid
We confirm arrival on the day of delivery, with a photo of the contents. We weigh, we value, and payment goes out within 48 hours, by bank transfer.
What if the valuation differs from the estimate?
It happens, and we do not pretend otherwise: some things cannot be seen in a photograph — real density, the state of the ends, an old colour that only shows in daylight. If the figure comes out different, we tell you with photos of the hair and the recorded weight, and we explain why. Nothing is paid until you agree.
And if I do not agree?
We send the hair back, at our expense, in the condition it arrived. No conditions, no cooling-off period, no justification needed. It is the only way a process at a distance can be fair to the person on the other end, who has never met us.

The mistake that destroys the value
Cutting first and tying afterwards. Loose cut hair loses the alignment of the fibres, mixes roots with tips, and stops being usable for an extension or a wig. There is no way back. That is why the kit puts the elastic bands before the scissors, and why we insist on this more than on anything else.
Does the postal route cost me anything?
No. The kit is free and the return envelope is already paid and tracked. There is no cost for sending, for the valuation, or for the return if you decline the figure.
Do you post to the Azores and Madeira?
Yes. The postal route covers the whole national territory, the autonomous regions included. Delivery naturally takes longer, but the process and the guarantees are identical.
